COMPATIBILITY & USE
I have just purchased my third PowerDeWise microphone. I now have two Lavalier Microphones, plus the Video Mic Kit.
The Video Mic Kit is an exceptional buy with a great Cardioid mic. The Kit includes a mini tripod with a smartphone clamp, a furry wind muff, two antishock mounts, one DSLR adapter cable, one smartphone adapter cable, and a case. I purchased a Lightning to 35mm headphone jack adapter for my iPhone XR to connect the mics.
I bought the Video Mic Kit to use with my iPhone XR. The new iPhones have tremendous video capabilities, but with every smartphone the audio quality suffers if you aren't using an external microphone. Video Mic is perfect for use with my new iPhone XR. The Video Mic sound quality is on par with my Blue Yeti microphone I have used with my iPhone.
The Yeti is a great mic, but it's cumbersome to use outside the studio with a smartphone.
The two Lavalier mics and the Video Kit mic works well with every recording app I have on my iPhone, including the video app: Filmic Pro. I also use the Video Mic attrached to a Triple Cold Shoe Mount on my DJI OSMO Mobile 3 Gimbal.
I produced my first nationally-televised music video in 1988. The production cost of that music video was $30,000. We've come a long way in video production capabilities since then. Now, it's fairly easy to do great production with great products at reasonable costs, like the PowerDeWise microphone products. I highly recommend these two PowerDeWise mics.
