MacBook Pro built-in speaker stops working after connecting the microphone, what should I do?

If the built-in speaker of your MacBook Pro stops working after connecting the microphone to your computer,  relax, take a deep breath, then please note the following points:

First, this is normal. We would like to point out the fact that the recent MacBook Pro generations,  with one headphone jack, do not recognize external microphones like the older ones with separate microphone and headphone ports.

Instead of recognizing the microphone as a microphone, it sees as a microphone and headphones at the same time. In other words, your built-in speaker stops work, as it does in a smartphone.
